Organized Play
CWGO members can participate in organized play from April through October. Play on Saturdays has two configurations: Regular Saturday Play and Special Events. Mid-week Evening Play begins in May when CWGO members may play nine holes each week on Wednesday evenings at Arlington and Thursday evenings at Fairfax. Organized play is contingent upon securing tee times through the JONAS Tee Time reservation system. Tee Time Policy.
Players should arrive at least 30 minutes before their scheduled tee time to check in with the pro shop and then the play coordinator for the day. If you can't get there early and check-in, you'll either be re-scheduled or will lose your tee time for that day. Under the new tee time system, this is monitored more closely. Consideration of the value of tee times is important again this year due to course reconstruction. Tee times will be difficult to obtain for regular Saturday play days at Fairfax which will be operating with only 18 holes. Failure to cancel a tee time will result in the CWGO member being placed at the bottom of the list for the next play date or scheduled tournament.
